About our Head Teaching Professional Marcus Bell
Marcus is the Head PGA Teaching professional and Director of Coaching at the Zen Golf Academy. He is a Master Zen Golf Mechanic, Certified FlowMotion Golf Coach and Masters Level Sports Biomechanist who specialises in Performance Coaching and is here to help you get the most from your game. He works with all golfers from newcomers to the game through to elite level and tour professionals.
In previous years Marcus has worked extensively with the Nottinghamshire Golf Union junior teams and in 2009 was Head County Coach responsible for developing junior talent at all age groups. As a current County Academy Coach he is heavily involved in junior golf development and runs regular junior sessions with Sam at Bawtry G.C. and in local schools.
He currently coaches Golf Biomechanics to the Yorkshire Boys B Squad, Balby Carr Golf Academy also delivers coach educational Workshops on FlowMotion Golf Coaching and Golf Biomechanics to PGA Professionals.
As a PGA Coach for over 19 years his focus has always been on coaching although whilst he was coaching abroad in Germany he played competitively on the EPD tour in Europe and also the Sunshine Tour in South Africa in the winter months.
Some of his highlights have been coaching players to county and national titles and also coaching a player through qualification into the 2014 Open Championship at Royal Hoylake G.C. This year he was honoured to represent the PGA by coaching on the R and A Swingzone at the Open Championship at Royal Troon G.C. and he also represented the Golf Foundation coaching juniors at the BMW PGA Championship at The Wentworth Club.

About Sam Skeldon, Assistant Teaching Professional

Sam is a recently Qualified PGA Professional and is Assistant Teaching Professional to Marcus at the Zen Golf Academy. He is trained and mentored by Marcus as a Zen Golf Mechanic and FlowMotion coach. As a passionate coach he is committed to his continual personal development to provide the best learning environment to all his pupils.

Sam coaches golfers of all abilities and is heavily involved in running our Junior Coaching Academy and delivering our 'Get Into Golf' beginner courses. He likes to keep fit, is a keen player and competes in regional PGA events.

In addition to being a FlowMotion coach, Sam is also experienced in custom fitting and has extensive product knowledge having worked for one of the industry's largest retailers. He brings this expertise into his lessons to ensure you are playing with the correct equipment to help your game.
