Whether you are new to the sport or are looking to improve particular aspects of your game, the Bawtry Golf Academy offers a fun and relaxing environment and top class facilities in which to progress towards your individual goals.
With structured group lessons or personal one to one tuition available from our three PGA professionals (Daniel Gregory, Mike Beck and Jonathan Pyle), elements of your game can be analysed and added to you personal development planner to ensure progress is monitored and built upon.

iPad GASP Video Swing Analysis
Using the latest iPad technology, this system provides a clear and precise image in slow motion, pause or at normal speed. We can calculate the amount of wrist bend, club head speed, angle of attack and even plot the swing plane on the back swing compared to the downswing.
Additionally there is a professional swing library featuring the swings of all of the world’s top players. This feature enables us to place you side by side with a professional of a similar rhythm, contrast the differences and look at improving components of your swing. The GASP system provides both Pro and pupil with a great understanding of the mechanics of the golf swing and is recommended for players of all ability
EXPLANAR
The Explanar is a swing plane training system. Many golfers swing the golf club too "flat" or too "upright". Using muscle memory, the Explanar can help in achieving the perfect swing plane when used on a regular basis. "Butch Harmon describes the Explanar as "the best training aid system he has seen in the last 30 years"
