Rabbit Section

Bawtry Rabbits play within the Yorkshire Rabbits Golfing Association (YRGA) of which there are 6 separate Rabbit Associations comprising 105 clubs. We play within the Wakefield & District Rabbit Golf Association (WRGA ) comprising 16 clubs. As a section we are directly responsible to Bawtry GC Club Committee & Management. In 2011 we are playing friendly fixtures with Waterton Park GC, Hickleton GC, Mid Yorkshire GC and Stocksbridge GC who currently hold the WRGA Presidency.

Next year (2012) Ron Griffiths of Bawtry GC will become President of this Association. We also play competitions within WRGA and YRGA which provides opportunities to play other great golf courses in Yorkshire.

75th Anniversary Open Competition for Members of the YRGA

Bawtry Golf Club is holding the 75th Anniversary of the YRGA Open Competition on Friday 27th April 2012. The competitionis open to all Rabbits Captains and Vice Captains/Secretarys of any Golf Clubs in the YRGA. Only 2 people per club.

Come and sample what Bawtry has to offer for the amzing price of just £10.00 per person. This includes a 2 Course Meal and Prize Presentation.
